With E3 2016 right around the corner, Microsoft on Tuesday cut the price of the Xbox One. All models of the video game console now cost $50 less, with the 500GB version starting at $299. The promotion is available now through Monday June 13 at participating retailers in the US.
Despite the new temptingly low price, anyone interested in buying a new gaming console soon might want to wait until after E3. GameSpot expects two new Xbox One consoles to be unveiled at the video game conference in June. Sony is also rumored to show off new hardware at E3.
In addition, Microsoft is expected to debut two Chromecast-like TV streaming devices at the conference. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
